Contify allows you to automatically keep your insights up to date whenever new relevant facts are generated. This ensures your dashboards and company profiles always reflect the latest developments without manual intervention.
📌 How to enable auto-updating insights for your account:
Step 1: Open Athena from "Setup"
Click on Athena from the Setup menu in the top-right hamburger menu.
Step 2: Go to Insight Templates
In the Athena setup, click on Insight Templates.
Here you’ll see both Contify Templates and Custom Templates.
Step 3: Enable auto-update for Contify Templates
Click on the Contify Templates tab. Locate the template you want to enable auto-update for, then turn the Auto-Update toggle ON. Once enabled, Insights generated from this template will automatically refresh when new relevant facts are added.
Enabling auto update for custom insight templates
Step 1: Enable auto-update for Custom Templates
Click on the Custom tab in the Insight templates of Athena setup. If an Insight template is mapped to a Fact template, you can turn the Auto-Update toggle ON or OFF. Click update to apply changes.
If an Insight template is not mapped to any Fact template, click on the edit icon and the auto update toggle. Select the fact template you want to map to the Insight template from the provided dropdown. Click on "Update".
Step 5: What happens after enabling auto-update
When new facts are created from updates in Curated Newsfeeds, Contify checks if an Insight already exists for the fact template. If an Insight already exists, it is automatically updated. If not, a new Insight is created
For any auto-updating insights, you'll be able to see:
An Auto-updated label
An updated timestamp on the Insight
All previous updates are available in Version History, so you can review changes anytime.
Step 6: Turn off auto-updates if you prefer manual review
You can disable auto-update at any time using the same toggle.
When auto-update is OFF:
The Insight card will show “New facts available”
You can review and select facts manually
Click Regenerate Insight to update the response
Edit and approve before saving
Step 7: Manually add references to any Insight
Even with auto-update enabled, you can add your own inputs:
Open the Insight card. Click Add Reference to include additional context or sources.
