Contify Athena can help you achieve desired results by customizing templates, fields, AI prompts, and even the Insight Prompts.
📌 How does Contify Athena tackle the patent tracking use case :
Using proprietary crawling technology and in-house-built algorithms related to Named Entity Recognition [NER], deduplication, and disambiguation, Contify’s newsfeed brings relevant content. Following this, the Insights Curation pipeline, a human-machine combo, is triggered, and you will see fact-based insights placed in the Facts tab.
📌 How to create a fact template for patent :
Step 1: Navigate to the 'Facts' section via the 'Athena AI' module.
Step 2: Click on 'Facts +' in the top-right corner and select 'Create New' from the menu.
Step 3: Choose the ‘Template Group’ to associate this custom template with defined template groups.
Step 4: Enter the template name in singular and plural forms. For this use case – lets use "Patent" and "Patents". If you wish you can write a brief description on the custom template.
Step 5: Select an icon for your template as per your preference. You can add/edit the AI prompt for the custom template.
Step 6: Click on ‘Submit’ to create Patent as a custom template.
📌 How to create custom fields for the patent template :
Step 1: Navigate to 'Fact Templates' and click on 'View Fields' of the Patent template to edit the fields of that template.
Step 2: Click on the 'Add field' button and enter the display name of the field.
Step 3: Select the group under which you want to place the field. You can add text about the field to define the description.
Step 4: Select the 'Field Type' from the drop-down menu to associate the field as per your preference.
Step 5: Configure the field type by checking the checkboxes for Visibility, Validation, Table Format, and AI Prompt.
Step 6: To define the AI Prompt at the field level, click 'Include in AI Prompt' and add a field-level prompt. Click on 'Submit' to create field. Patent related fact will be placed in ‘Facts' tab using Contify Newsfeed.
📌 How to generate insights on competitors' patents :
Step 1: Select one or multiple patent facts and click on ‘Generate Insights’ to create insights on patents.
Step 2: Select from the 'Recommended Templates' or from the 'All Templates'. Click on 'Proceed'.
Step 3: Existing insights [if any] are shown, and you can decide to replace or merge. You can also add a new template by clicking on 'Add Template' in the 'All Templates' section and:
Enter name of the insight template
Select the fact template[s]
Edit the AI prompt and give a description
Decide to enable the toggle for auto-update
Step 4: Once the insight is created, you can change the title and description and edit the prompt. Then click 'Publish'.
