Contify lets users combine facts from two or more templates into a single, decision-ready insight, bringing together signals like product changes, pricing updates, and partnerships while preserving per-fact references and context. In this article, you will learn how to select cross-template facts in Athena, choose or create the right insight template, and publish a unified, traceable insight.
📌 How to create an insight from facts of two or more templates :
Step 1: Navigate to 'Facts' from Athena AI module using top navigation.
Step 2: Select the 'Template' of your choice and then select a 'Fact' for that particular template.
Step 3: You will see that one fact has been selected. Clear the template filter by clicking on 'Cancel' and selecting another template. Now select facts from the newly filtered template. Eventually, you will see that two facts have been selected at the top left from more than one template.
Step 4: Click on 'Generate Insight' in the top right navigation. Select from the 'Recommended Templates' or from the 'All Templates'. Click on 'Proceed'.
Step 5: Existing insights [if any] are shown, and you can decide to replace or merge. You can also add a new template by clicking on 'Add Template' in the 'All Templates' section and:
Enter name of the insight template
Select the fact template[s]
Edit the AI prompt and give a description
Decide to enable the toggle for auto-update
Step 6: Once the insight is created, you can change the title and description, and edit the prompt. Then click 'Publish'.
Step 7: Repeat the steps [2] and [3] to select facts from two or more templates and once you have selected all the templates of your choice execute step [4] to generate an insight.
