Export Analytics Data in Spreadsheet for Your Own Analysis

Get a comprehensive snapshot of how your users consume intelligence from your dashboards and workspaces in a convenient spreadsheet export.

You can now export or download your user analytics data in a spreadsheet file from Contify platform's analytics module.

  1. Go to Analytics from the drop-down menu

  2. Select the date range for which you want to download the data

  3. Click on the download button

Your browser will start download a .xls file containing analytics data for the selected date range.

The downloaded spreadsheet will have the following five worksheets/tabs:

  1. Counts

  2. Newsletters

  3. Alerts

  4. Newsfeed

  5. Dashboards

The Counts worksheet has following data:

  • Name: Full name of the user.

  • Email: Email of the user.

  • Score: Contify's proprietary course based on the overall user engagement.

  • Stories Clicked: Total number of stories/URLs clicked by the user

  • Newsfeed Views: Total number of the Newsfeed views. Newsfeed is based on the search results of a number of filters and user preferences.

  • Newsletter Sent: Total number of Newsletters sent by the user

  • Newsletter Received: Total number of Newsletters received by the user

  • Newsletter Read: Total number of Newsletters read by the user

  • Alerts Received: Total number of Alerts received by the user

  • Alerts Read: Total number of Alerts read by the user

  • Dashboard Views: The number of times the Dashboard module is accessed by the user

  • Dashboard Clicked: The number of individual Dashboards accessed by the user.

  • Workspace Clicked: The number of individual Workspaces accessed by the user.

The Newsletters, Alerts, and Newsfeed worksheet have following data:

  • Name: Full name of the user

  • Email: Email of the user

  • Newsletter (or Alerts) Name: Name of the newsletter sent by the user

  • Time Stamp: Date and time when the users accessed the dashboard

  • Title: Title of the URL clicked

  • URL: URL clicked

  • User Location: Location from where the user clicked the URL

  • Device Type: Device from which the user clicked the URL

  • Industries: Industries tagged with the URL clicked

  • Monitoring Channel: Monitoring channel (News, Social, Company Website, Jobs, etc.) meta-data tagged with the URL clicked

  • Topics: Topic meta-data tagged with the URL clicked

  • Companies: Company meta-data tagged with the URL clicked

  • Locations: Location meta-data tagged with the URL clicked

  • Content Source: Source of the URL clicked

  • Custom Topics: Custom topics meta-data tagged with the URL clicked. This is available only if custom topics are configured in your platform.

The Dashboard worksheet has the following data:

  • Name: Full name of the user

  • Email: Email of the user

  • Event Type: Dashboard Click or the Workspace Click

  • Time Stamp: Date and time when the users accessed the dashboard

  • Dashboard Name: Name of the dashboard clicked by the user

  • Workspace Name: Name of the workspace clicked by the user

  • User Location: Location from where the user clicked the URL

  • Device Type: Device from which the user clicked the URL
