What is Ask Athena ?
Ask Athena is a Generative AI-driven conversational interface equipped with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture. It leverages GenAI to support users in drawing meaningful Insights from their data in an easy-to-use and efficient manner at the click of a button. By taking advantage of RAG, Ask Athena enhances the quality and relevance of its outputs by retrieving relevant data from the specified “Focus Areas” and augmenting it with user queries before generating informed responses.
Why Ask Athena is unique
What makes the Ask Athena different from similar offerings lies in its ability to be specific about the sources that are used to generate a response. Since Ask Athena can utilize your “Curated Newsfeed” and the “Facts and Insights” that are generated by you to curate a response by leveraging LLMs, it offers a response that is specifically tailored for you without any additional content.
How to use Ask Athena
Refer the following points to utilize the Ask Athena
Accessing Ask Athena: To access the Ask Athena, you just need to log into the Contify platform and click on “Ask Athena” in the top navigation.
Select a “Focus Area”: The “Focus Areas” are the sources used by the Ask Athena to generate responses. You can choose between “Curated Newsfeed”, “ Facts and Insights” or upload PDF file(s) for generating a response only from the selected source. You can select a “Focus Area” from the provided drop down menu. By default the Ask Athena will generate a response by taking all of the available sources into account.
Ask a question: You can start conversing with Ask Athena by typing your query in the provided textbox.
Iterate as Needed: If the response isn't fully satisfying or you need more information, you can try selecting a different “Focus Area” to generate response
Uploading a PDF file using which you want to generate response and selecting “Attachments” from “Focus Areas”

Contify’s Ask Athena has got you covered if you want your queries answered from specific documents. Simply upload PDFs by clicking on the attachment icon and select the “Focus Area” as “Attachments”. Now, Ask Athena will answer your queries from the uploaded file(s) only. You can attach up to five PDF files.
